Tomaree Coastal Walk

Worimi Country

Just moments from Wanderers Retreat, the Tomaree Coastal Walk offers one of the most rewarding ways to experience Port Stephens at a slower pace.

Stretching across dramatic headlands, secluded beaches, and coastal bushland, the walk reveals some of the region’s most beautiful landscapes, from sweeping ocean views to the iconic sand dunes of Worimi Conservation Lands. Along the way, you may spot dolphins year-round and whales during migration season from May to November.

Perfect for those new to multi-day hiking, the walk can be completed over two days or enjoyed at a more relaxed three-day pace, allowing time to pause, take in the scenery, and move gently through the landscape.
