Stretching 32 kilometres along the coast, Stockton Beach is home to the Stockton Bight Sand Dunes, the largest moving sand dunes in the Southern Hemisphere. Rising more than 40 metres high, the landscape feels vast and almost lunar. Visitors come for quiet exploration, photography, seasonal whale watching, or simply to take in the scale and stillness. Optional activities such as camel rides, sand boarding and 4WD tours are available nearby and can be explored independently.
