Port Stephens NSW will again host the Bluewater Country Music Festival this June Long weekend
This Festival commenced in 2006, promises to feature exciting new gigs at over 20 venues. The festival not only features established Australian Country Music artists, but also young new talent, as well as a Bush Poet program.
Nelson Bay provides a unique seaside setting for the Festival embracing the June long weekend. Activities include a line dancing program as well as demonstrations and competitions. Also there will be a range of “Country Music and Bush Poet Cruises” which will be on the beautiful bay of Port Stephens. It truly brings the best of the “Country to the Coast”. The Program will be available on the website approximately 2 weeks before the weekend.
This 36 hole golf event is on the long weekend in June. It also coincides with Bluewater Country Music Festival that is held in Nelson Bay. There are a number of venues around the Bay who are hosting a variety of country artists. Nelson Bay Golf Club will have multiple Golden Guitar Winner – Drew McAlister performing on the Saturday night. Why not make a full weekend of it and come along to both?
The Australian Skin Cancer Clinics NSW Longboard Titles Presented by HIF will be 6 days of action to crown multiple champions across ALL longboard and log divisions at Port Stephens. This year, Surfing NSW will be running all Longboard divisions within the event – Juniors, Opens & Overage divisions in conjunction with the Port Stephens Surf Festival between 19th- 24th June 2018.
The event will bring the best NSW longboarders to one location to surf for their position in “TEAM NSW” which will be heading to the wave rich location of Tweed Heads in August for the Australian Surf Festival 2018.
The event is being held at One Mile Beach only a 400 metre walk from Wanderers Retreat.
The Port Stephens Surf Festival event will be 6 days of action to crown multiple champions across ALL surf and race divisions at Port Stephens. The event will bring the best NSW SUP Competitors to one location to surf for their position in “TEAM NSW”.
