We absolutely loved our stay at Wanderers Retreat — this was our second time visiting, and it was just as beautiful as we remembered. The location is perfect, only a short stroll to the beach, and the whole place feels like a lush, green jungle hideaway. Our little wooden cottage was perfect for our needs — super clean, cosy and charming. The hot tub was definitely a highlight too - the best way to relax. It’s also only about 20 minutes from the airport, which makes a quick escape from Melbourne incredibly easy. We had the best stay and we’re already planning to come back next year. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved our stay at Wanderers. The cabins are comfy, private and equipped with everything you need to cook and relax. Hot tub looking up at the trees was the ultimate relaxation. Short walk to a gorgeous swimming beach and other sights and activities are just a short drive. Absolute paradise. Thanks to Ines and Antony who are amazing hosts. We will be back!

What a gem of a hidden oasis! A great place to rest and relax! You can do as much or as little as you want! The swimming pool was perfect… and we made great use of the bbq! Kitchen is well equipped! Wildlife was friendly and would join us for breakfast!

What a fabulous peaceful weekend in Port Stephens. Just had a wonderful family break at Wanderers Retreat . Super friendly hosts who couldn’t have been more accomodating and we all loved our experience in “The Beach House” . Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to disconnect from the rat-race. Walking distance to the beach for morning strolls or fishing adventures . 2 mins drive to the headland at Boat Harbour to see the whales passing by so close and just a short drive to restaurants and shops in Nelson or Salamander Bay. Bonus for us was the Everty Charging station on site - love it when we find places with destination EV charging
